Dress Code For Evenings

On formal evenings, men are requested to wear a tuxedo, dinner jacket, or dark suit. For women, an evening cocktail dress or elegant pant suit is appropriate. On the cruise I was on, it was mostly tuxedo's for the men, and nice dresses for women.

During the day

In tropical climates, casual and practical are recommended. Shorts, T-shirts, button-down short sleeves are the norm. Bathing suits for swimming and sunbathing are required near the pool. Breakfast and lunch are informal.

While dinner and evening is decidedly more formal, I found that a jacket with shirt and tie worked well for most evenings, and a jacket with crew-neck or long sleeve shirt beneath without tie for casual evenings. The restaurant on the top deck (Don Vito's) was casual.
