Increasing the irradiance to 150 mW/cm2 at 630 nm with 4500 μM (J/cm2) induced a similar photocytotoxicity as 532 nm using an irradiance of 28 mW/cm2 with 14 μM (J/cm2), with no significant toxicity observed when cells were treated with light alone (Figure 2).
