Dining with the stars Gornergrat At 3, 100 m, your hosts up at the Kulm Hotel Gornergrat serve a great buffet with “Fondue Chinoise” (with meat) followed by dessert. Your local guide to the stars, Peter Salzmann, will then explain the star constellations and how they were influenced by the ancient Greek sagas. If the weather gods are willing, then you will have a spectacular view of the night sky from the hotel’s terrace. The highlight of the evening is to see the stars by tele- scope from the dome in the observatory. When the weather is favourable the sight is amazing.
