video was classified as a comedy video by the uploader, the comments were significantly more likely to fall into the “Joke” sub-comment category (p=.011). Of the Comedy videos in this study, almost a quarter of their comments were considered jokes. Similarly, while Information comments were not found very frequently in this study, they were extremely likely to be found in response to Education and Science & Technology videos (p=.006).
