The results suggest that vulnerable links inside the network occur rarely, and that their frequency decreases with the degree of user connectivity. Therefore, the better connected users are in the trust network, the more robust the network is to link attacks. Because users in Ostra already have an incentive to maintain a certain number of links for other reasons, one would expect that a real Ostra trust network would not be vulnerable to link attacks.
