Day at Sea	Display of Fish to be Grilled Poolside - Outdoor Grill
I awoke to an overcast morning, just off the coast of Cuba, a bit northwest of Havana. The ship is doing a steady 17.5-18.5 knots. My GPS shows a ship roll of about one foot from a height of 85 feet above the water, which is quite good. Except for the Diamond, all cruise ships have stabilizers which dampen the roll when voyaging.

Relaxed Morning	Looking Astern at Caribbean
By noon, the Sun finally came out for a nice windy day at sea. One thing I like about the Radisson is the fantastic level of service. You are always greeted with a warm smile and the ships staff are very attentive to passengers needs. Personally, I like having a few days at sea, since it gives you some time to relax. When you're at port, you're almost always going on a tour, or exploring. At sea, you have time to relax. There are a number of shipboard activities for those looking for something to do-- from cooking demonstrations, ship facilities tours, cards or casino tournaments to pool games.

Afternoon Poolside	Sunset
The poolside area was fairly crowded, since this was a fully-booked cruise. This week is the start of spring break season for cruises, and this ship had about half of it's passengers as families, which is quite rare for Radisson ships (families with kids). While they do have kids activities, I'd book a Disney cruise or mass-market cruise ship if I had kids, since they cater more to that genre.

Internet Cafe	Cocktail Party
There is a Internet Cafe aboard ship. For $.75 a connected minute, you can access the internet. It's really only good for web-based email such as Hotmail or Yahoo. The connect time is via satellite (in real time via gyro stabilized dishes) but very slow. Slower than what your legacy modem used to do. I recommend that if you must check emails when your away, go to a local land-based internet cafe. You have a faster connect time, are charged less. and get into the local flavor of the area. Internet cafes are very popular abroad, and can be found even in the most remote locations (they even had one in Bora Bora).

Captains Cocktail Party	Dinner Entree
Since my Tuxedo was late being pressed, I missed having my photo taken with the Captain, but caught the tail end of the cocktail party, where hors-d'vours and champagne were served.

Dinner with the Staff Captain	Staff Captain's Table
A delightful lobster dinner was served at the Compass Rose along with a number of passengers, the Staff Captain (Fabritzio) and the Safety Officer.

Martini's and Shots at the Stars Lounge	Stars Lounge
Along with some of the passengers from dinner (Isabella and G from Italy) we enjoyed some after dinner cocktails.
