Embarkation Sunset After we slowly glided out beyond South Beach, we were greeted by warm Atlantic winds, and a beautiful sunset. Three cruise ships followed us out into the Atlantic, one of which would stay with us most of the way onto our next destination, St. Maarten.
Evening At 5:30 there was a singles social in the Windjammer Bar (located forward) where I met a huge group from John's Hopkins University. I think the social directors could do a better job at planning singles events (I only heard of three during the entire cruise). I know for a fact that there were a number of singles aboard who probably didn't even know there were any socials just for them.
