Sardinia Felix Hotel Arrived Sardina Olbia airport (small but efficient) and took a cab to Felix which is in downtown area of Olbia. Not near any waterfront or nice walking area (like parks, etc.). A few food stores and restaurants nearby. No issues with anyone accepting Visa credit card, and most spoke or understook English. Felix has a nice pool on one side of building, but a dirt and gravel parking lot on the other side. Garbage dumpsters outside side of building (views are not pleasant). Top floor is really nice with a small pool and panoramic view of city and some mountains. This hotel is really for guests with cars, since it is a fair distance from the port, waterfront and beaches. Breakfast was good with a fair selection of hot and cold items and fresh fruit. It is not a self-serve buffet (you pick and choose while they serve). Hotel was relatively new with basic amenities. Floor was painted concrete. They has air conditioning, which was needed since it was very hot (around 35 C). A better value and choice would be the Hilton Doubletree which is almost on the Oblia waterfront and port, with better walking and shopping options.
