Ameron Hotel in Davos Switzerland The Ameron is one of my new favorites in Switzerland. Located in iconic Davos, it is a new property with exceptional staff, service, and lovely new rooms. Booked on Expedia, I paid $190 for one night, then booked another around $212. Either is a huge value which includes breakfast. The suites are comfortable, new, and everything works. The beds are really comfortable with spacious sitting area, balcony, and bathroom. The new fixtures are hotel guest friendly. This hotel really accentuates the modern nuances of great hotel guest experience. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, with great quality food and made-to-order omelets. The hotel is located in the heart of Davos and a short taxi drive from Davos Dorf or Platz. It is easily walkable without luggage. There is a continuous bus service about every 10 minutes which takes you from one end to the other of the village. The room and accommodations were so comfortable that it inspired me to work on new projects for my business (rare for most hotels). Ameron gets high marks for Davos. Last year I stayed at another hotel for more money and less experience. I like it so much, that it's worth the stay, regardless if you like Davos or not.
