Arrival at Port	Arrival
We arrived promptly at 7:00 a.m. in the Port of Progresso and were docked with lines secured at 7:15 a.m.

Uxmal Tour	Mayan Temple
I departed the ship at 7:15 a.m. and proceeded to the tour bus to Uxmal. The bus ride was about two hours to this lesser know Mayan city, but it was well worth the time needed to get there. Chichen Izta is closer, but visited by tourists and passengers from other ships that are near Cancun, which translates to about 3,000 plus tourists. While the main pyramid is taller than anything at Uxmal, the artwork and general architecture is more beautiful. With my GPS on, I tracked about 75 miles from the ship to Uxmal.

Temple of the Magician	Magician
While most of the temples at Uxmal are in original condition, some of the artwork has been replaced (from fallen stone objects or reproductions of what the historians thought it was like).

Mayan Calendar	Flowers at Uxmal
Mayans were renowned for their math and astronomy. They originated the months and days in the year which we still use today. The Gregorian Calendar was based on what the Mayans originally established as monthly cycles.

Afternoon Poolside and Departure	Ship at Port in Progresso
After a few hours in the Sun, the sky turned slightly overcast and the ship departed Progresso at about 5:00 p.m.

Cocktails and Dinner	Tug at Sunset
Sunset cocktails at Galileo's followed by dinner at Portafino's started the evening.

Beatles Review	Cargo Ship at Progresso
The Beatles cover band, Revolution played a set of the Beatles favorites to a packed house. The did a great job, and the passengers loved them.

Karaoke Night	Martini Presentation at 007 Martini Night
After the show, the Star's Lounge offered up Karaoke night which gives the passengers an opportunity to show talent, or lack thereof.
