Breakfast at Vanilla Restaurant After waking up to a Polynesian sunrise, we ventured the long walk to the main reception and restaurant area, and had the buffet breakfast. Breakfast turned out to be the best and most tasty meal of the day. Usually we had omelet's made a-la-minute (fresh and to order). There was a wide range of fruits and juices available and the quality was very good.

Move to Over the Water Hut I opted for two nights in the beach bungalow and two nights in the over-the-water huts, so we packed up and moved to our Taha'a view hut.
Movie- 2005 Day 3 Le Tahaa Glass Table to Water
Over the Water Hut The over-the-water huts are beautiful, and have a glass end table with a hinged glass top so that you can feed the fish at night. It has a large two sink bathroom with bathtub, shower, and separate enclosed toilet. It also has a large outside deck, with a lower swim platform and ladder access to the shallow lagoon below. These huts are magical at night since you can turn off all the lights in the hut, which having the water lights on below which casts a beautiful lightshow emanating from the glass end table.

Drinks Poolside with Eric the Bartender Afternoon entertainment was provided by Eric the bartender, who tried to teach us some Polynesian words/phrases as well as give us some background to Tahitian culture in the 80's and 90's. After we got back around sunset, and preparing for dinner, the water just stopped. None of the facets worked. When we phoned into reception, we found that the entire resort was cutoff (later found that the water pipeline from nearby Taha'a and been closed off). A little more than an hour later (after we got back from dinner) had the water been returned to normal service.

Feeding the Fish We got some extra bread and some Lay's (stacked) potato chips to feed the fish that night. Nothing terribly big came by, but there we alot of smaller fish.
