Breakfast at Vanilla	Pepe Underwater
After a relaxing breakfast, we returned to our hut to find out that because of the water problem, we'd have to move to yet another hut. We decided to try out the underwater camera housing for the Olympus Stylus snorkeling, then move later on in the morning.

We were told that the water would be available, but that it was limited until Monday, so everyone in the Taha'a view over-the-water huts had to move to the Bora Bora view huts. Since this was our last day, we wanted to spend it doing other things than moving again, so we decided to go snorkeling first, then pack and move.

Overall Impressions of Le Tahaa Resort	Palm Overlooking Lagoon
My overall impressions of Le Taha'a Private Island Resort and Spa (Le Tahaa) are that it is a world-class resort for this area of the world. I found it much better than Pearl Beach in Bora Bora-- possibly because it is a newer resort, but more so because the service is much better. There are alot of small problems though, for example, no bottle opener in our first bungalow, and we always seemed to get the table at dinner that did not have any salt and pepper shakers. Small inconsistencies that should be on a checklist. After all, it is the details that are the hallmark of a five-star resort. We we really noticed was how well the grounds were kept-- they were immaculate, which is not easy to do with so much tropical foliage. Also, the turndown and cleaning was excellent.

Beach	Palms
Every day was sunny in paradise. There were a few days that had brief periods of showers, but it always cleared up.

Activities	Windsurfers
There were a number of good activities at the resort. I was very disappointed in the boardsailing inventory though. Only one board (the shortboard for experts) had a skeg. The other two boards were rendered useless without the skeg, so I did not get a chance to boardsail. The cabana person was not willing to change the skeg to the other boards (no, I can't sail a shortboard). For a world-class resort, this is not acceptable. A skeg for these larger boards might be about $30 each.

Pool	Pool At Sunset
The infinity pool at Le Taha'a Private Island Resort and Spa (Le Tahaa) is just beautiful. Only during the midday sun does the pool have any occupants.

Lagoon	Sunset Palms
The lagoon is only about 3 feet deep on average, with about 4-5 feet in depth at its deepest point. Bring surf shoes to protect your feet from the coral and random sea urchin. Most of the bottom is pure white sand.

Motu	Island Motu
The island is surrounded by motu's (small sand islands). This one you can walk out to.

Beautiful Vistas	Sunset Palms
No matter where you look, the views are amazing.

Poolside Restaurant	La Plage
We only ate once at La Plage. The buffet was expensive, and not well stocked (at least with any good selection). We found that we could order a pizza from the pool bar and eat in the water, which was novel and fun. If you don't see something you like in the menu, try having Eric the bartender put in a custom order.

Farewell Sunset	Sunset
This was our last sunset at Le Taha'a Private Island Resort and Spa (Le Tahaa). It was an amazing stay. Magical moments surround you every day. Of course, sunset is my favorite time of day, when the South Pacific sun slowly illuminates the water and sky simultaneously, in a myriad of colors.
