Room 121 had about 30 minutes of door lock problems, but they reset the door and the keycard worked flawlessly since.

A nice welcoming gift of Plum Liquor (I don't drink - so left it there) and Davos honey greeted me in the room.

The hotel was about quarter to half full, mostly with convention people (Davos seems to be a popular meeting place even outside of the World Economic Conference in January).

As always, I use Luigi Taxi.

Restaurant Teufi

Located about 6 km outside of Davos in a beautiful valley is the gem of Davos - Restaurant Teufi.

I found this lovely authentic Swiss restaurant eBiking up the valley. You can get there by bike (less than 30 minutes), city bus (about 15 minutes with stops), taxi (10 minutes), hiking (1-2 hours), or even a horse drawn carraige in the winter.

With all the Swiss favorites including fondue (cheese or oil) and Rösti, most discerning tastes will be satisfied.

The tantalizing aromas coming from the kitchen signal that your taste buds will be pleased.

I've been to Davos around 20 times, and this is hard to believe that it's just outside of Davos, but seems like it's in the middle of nature. Breathe the fresh air, and enjoy the good food.
