Yes, there is wonderful wood fired pizza in Venice. While you may read some posts that a wood fired pizza oven is not allowed, it exists here. Funny thing is that even the neighbor businesses will deny that they exist.The pizza was great, and I took videos of the wood fired pizza oven in action. Open from noon to 11:30 pm daily.Location near the Basilica di San Marco at Calle larga San Marco 404, Venezia - 0412438949.

Instead of getting point to point water bus tickets, just get a day pass. A one hour pass is 7.50 Euro. A day pass is 20 Euro. Travel cards up to 7 days are available. The best option is to purchase a travel card for your entire stay, then you don't have to worry about transportation. If you're staying at the Hilton Stucky, which is across the canal from the main part of Venice, you need transporation. The hotel offers a one way ticket for 10 Euro per person, so the water bus is a better value and runs almost every 15-30 minutes.Purchase locally in Venice at most water bus stop ticket kiosks.
