Embarkation Day

The day you board the ship is always exciting. We spent a leisurely morning at the Intercontinental pool and beach, then took a cab over to the port where SeaDream I was docked.

Public beach access.	Vendors crowed the beaches for the tourists.	View down the beach. The beach was full of debris, highly recommend you use footwear.	Shipboard ID card.

Embarkation	Boarding SeaDream I
Boarding the ship is always exciting. You have an entire week of fun and adventure awaiting you. You are welcomed in style with a glass of champagne. First you check-in and have them swipe your credit card. Then you have your digital photo taken and a ID card is issued. That card opens your door as well as checks you in and off of ship.

Clothes closet.	Cabin living area.	Welcome bottle of champagne.	Mini fridge stocked with complimentary soda, mixers and beer.

Room safe, which I always used.	TV and desk with internet connection (fee based).	Living room compact table (with champagne).	Make-up station and mirror.

Renee, the master packer, had about 10 pairs of shoes in one carry-on.	Top of the bar, bar. This is the usual hangout in the evening and is surrounded by the ocean vistas.	Stairs up to Top of Bar.	Aft deck with tanning beds.

One of the many tanning beds on the top deck. You can sleep out here at night if you wish, but it's noisy and not really comfortable.	Aft deck pool.	Binoculars are in aft deck boxes for passenger use.	Top deck bar.

Front lounge chairs.	Sometimes the spa will do massages in the foredeck.	Lounge with internet access and computers.	Library.

End of Day - Embarkation

The ship left port enroute for the first destination as the passengers were wined and dined. The first day aboard ship is always exciting. The crew and staff service are the best in the industry. They are European trained, and will cater to your every need.
